Istanbul: Coffee, Art, Spices

DSC_2175Everything in Istanbul is just so beautiful. On our third day there we, of course, started our morning at an adorable café. I think cafes are always my favorite when traveling abroad. In a city like Houston, we just don’t have the luxury of great outdoor cafes. Between the humidity and the fast paced lifestyle, it’s so hard to just sit and enjoy life and all its beauty. After our coffee we began our fabulous rainbow stair descent towards Istanbul’s Modern Art Museum where we wandered for a while before heading to the Spice Bazaar. It was a visually intoxicating day so I’ll let Carlos’ pics do most of the talking :)  photo 1DSC_2170IMG_5587 IMG_5592 DSC_2189IMG_5605 DSC_2203 IMG_5597 DSC_2210 DSC_2220 DSC_2251 IMG_5612 IMG_5606IMG_5607 DSC_2281 IMG_5625 IMG_5623 DSC_2289 DSC_2290 DSC_2292DSC_2302 DSC_2303 DSC_2304IMG_5626 DSC_2294DSC_2307 photo 3DSC_2333 DSC_2324 photo 4DSC_2356
