Prettily Pink

The longer I record all my outfits the more I’m noticing just how much I love loose, billowy pieces. I always knew I was a fan but I think I stuck to “loose with fitted” never loose all over or fitted all over. It just kinda felt like a rule of fashion to me…I didn’t ever want to look frumpy or overtly sexy. I tried sticking to a middle ground, and I think I still do, but I think I’ve also learned that in fashion there are no “across the board” rules. You should dress for your body and comfort and you should have fun doing it. For example, I’ve learned that for me loose all over can work, it just takes a cinched waist, a high heel, or maybe a bright lip. As far as tight all over, I still rarely go for that, mostly cuz it’s just really uncomfortable and I end up fidgeting all night. Every once in a while though I’ll find an amazing dress that I’m determined to wear no matter the discomfort.

Most mornings (unless I just have nothing to wear) I’ll have a specific piece I want to wear, or something I just really wanna show off so I try to put my outfit together around that. How do you get dressed every morning? Do you plan the night before? I try to do that but it hardly ever works out for me.
