Super Casual

Sometimes, well, most of the time our date nights are very casual. It’s not always comfortable sitting in a movie theater in a dress. And at the end of a long week it’s nice to get a little low key time with Carlos. Niko Niko’s for dinner followed by Edge of Tomorrow….not what I was expecting, it def kept me at the edge of my seat! I spent this past weekend in Playa del Carmen watching my friends renew their vows. It was fun but I came back exhausted and maybe a little sunburned, so this weekend’s date night will def be a casual and easy one. I’ll be whipping out my picnic blanket Saturday night at Miller Outdoor Theatre to enjoy The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas, fun right?!? It’s at 8:15 pm if anyone’s interested…I’ll be the one up front with a bottle of wine, Chipotle and a tall/dark/handsome man by my side ;)

I don’t normally buy multiple colors of one item, but when I found these shorts a couple summers ago at the Banana outlets, I bought them in khaki and white. The following summer I scooped up 2 more in olive and coral. Shorts have always been the hardest thing for me to find for my body so when I found one I liked I went overboard. I even bought white twice because I like how crisp a new white looks. I also want to note that I bought these gladiator sandals for a steal of a price, not knowing how much i was really going to like them, they’ve turned out to be my go to off duty shoe! I kinda wish I would’ve bought a slightly nicer, real leather pair, but oh well…now I can just buy more shoes period :)
