Pink Pleats

I shot these pics before I left for my trip but yesterday was the first time I wore my new shoes for an Entire day, I can’t even count on my fingers how many compliments I received :) Not only are they great spring colors but they are super comfy for a pointy-toed stiletto, they made it through work, dinner at Carlos’ parents’ and a walk around the mall! Needless to say, I’m happy I found them and scooped them up when I did.

Since returning this week I’ve felt super relaxed, fresh,… almost new (if that makes any sense) and it’s crossing over (very obviously) into my wardrobe choices. I am, more so than usual, wanting everything easy, flowy, and pretty but with a dressed up feel. I’ve even worn heels to work every single day this week, which is extremely rare for me. This pink skirt fits nicely into this “fashion feel” I’m having right now so I’m foreseeing it will get a lot of wear.

I finally found an inexpensive pair of round sunnies that I liked and decided to take them to Guatemala. My teenage cousin liked them so much I let her keep them, so I guess they were a hit! I’ll be heading back to Aldo to get myself another, maybe after my haircut tomorrow….

OH, I’m getting highlights tomorrow! I haven’t lightened in years, I actually dye my hair black every few months but it always fades so quickly. I figure dark will be harder to maintain under the sun all summer thanks to my Irish roots always trying to make me a red head, so this year I’m gonna go with it and add a little extra. We’ll see how it turns out, fingers crossed!

Have a great weekend!
